Making a difference
At The Roy Lee Foundation, we believe that education is the foundation of transformation. Our mission is to restore schools, rebuild futures, and empower Jamaica’s youth to reach their full potential. Every initiative we undertake is guided by Roy Lee’s vision — creating opportunities that inspire growth, resilience, and hope within our communities.
The Kai-Zee Scholarship — Empowering the Next Generation at Charlemont High
The Roy Lee Foundation, in collaboration with the Kai-Zee Foundation, proudly supported the Kai-Zee Scholarship Programme. (an initiative led by Charlemont High alumna Jacqueline Butler-Chin, a successful human resources executive.)
Through this partnership, five outstanding Charlemont High students — Devon Williams, Deandra Doeman, Tashana Richards, Sasha Clarke, and Jessica Wilson — were awarded full scholarships covering school fees, uniforms, supplies, and other essentials for the academic year.
The scholarship celebrates students who demonstrate academic excellence (75%+ average), strong participation in sports and clubs, good discipline, and a spirit of perseverance despite financial challenges.
Jacqueline’s story, rooted in humble beginnings and inspired by the nurturing environment of Charlemont High, embodies the values the Roy Lee Foundation seeks to uphold — giving back, uplifting others, and creating lasting impact through education.
